Okay so it has been way too long and I do know this.... I just never have the time to sit down and blog, but I am going to make an effort to try from now on.
Now as any of you peeps out there who read this know there are three things that I really love in the big bad world of pop culture... books, music and movies. I REALLY love it when one of my favorite books is turned into a movie with a great soundtrack. That being said I have had a fun weekend and both Megan and I have a VERY exciting weekend coming up. In case you have been living under a rock, or on a very secluded vacation for the past year let me catch you up... New Moon, the second book in the Twilight Saga, is coming to the big screen this friday! For M&M it is very very early friday morning but that is so not the point right now.
Anyway, We have both been so excited about this movie realease for so long it really seems surreal that the day is almost here.
Now on to what I did this weekend, yesterday to be precise, I went to the All Time Low, We The Kings, Hey Monday, and Friday Night Boys concert. In one word it was amazing! We the Kings is perhaps the best thing ever!!! I screamed along to all of there songs and I now have no voice, it was great. If you have never heard of them then you should stop reading other peoples blog's and go buy their CD pronto. They rock my socks off.
So that my November, the exciting parts anyway, what have you guys done that has Rocked Your Socks Off?

What We've Been Up To Part 1: Megan
Hi all you peeps out in the internet world who might stumble across this humble little blog, what's up?

yes, we do realize it's been forever since we last posted. sorry 'bout that, but we're posting now. Rather Megan is posting right now.
(Okay, someone just drove by my house at 9:30 at nite blasting Pat Benatar Shadows of the Night.
How random is that??)
look how peaceful I am tonite w/ my tie-dye and peace sign
Anyway, back to this post: What We've Been Up To.
1. The last week of July I was at cheer camp at Central Washington University. So basically any movie you've ever seen about cheer camp (Bring it on, Fired Up) are all true. No joke. There's a real spirit stick that you have to decorate, take with you everywhere and guard with your life. I totally thought they made that up for the fourth bring it on movie. (Anybody see that? I thought Michael Copon (he's the guy in the blue uniform doing the toe touch in that picture) was really cute in that movie until I realized he was the one that wanted to play Jacob in New Moon, then he wasn't so cute. Love you Taylor!!) And not gonna lie, I was sometimes embarrassed to be a teenage girl while I was there. Probably cause Molly and I have middle aged souls. hee hee

2. I sat in the DMV for 2 hours, waiting to take my written test for my license.
At the office they have this sign that says it's illegal to threaten a DMV employee. yeah, now I know why. I was waiting there forever watching everybody else's number get called except mine. but at least i passed :) Yay!
Okay, well I didn't realize this post was going to end up being so long. I guess I was chatty tonite. Hopefully Molly will post soon about what she's been up to and thx for reading :) Congrats if you actually read thru all of this novel-esque post!
Luv ya, Megan

Advertising
This wonderfully overdue post is about commercials. The one thing everyone hates about watching t.v.
Okay that's a little harsh, we like some commercials.... like "Freecreditreport.com" or any infomercial that doesn't involve fitness- watching peppy people workout=srsly lamespice.
Anywho, back on topic - commercials. The particular commercial to which we are referring is not just an advertisement, it's an advertisement advertising something else. Can you say confusing? So here is the dealy, there is a new movie entitled Band Slam that looks like the punk rock version of High School Musical- thats not even the weird part- during the preview for this movie they advertise the fact that there will be a preview for a different movie, during the previews preceding Band Slam. Like we said, CONFUSING!!!!
Basically they advertised their planned advertising of a movie sure to cause a buzz - aka NEW MOON!- to create a buzz for this new, yet unheard of film.
Now on a happier note... can you believe their will be an exclusive look at New Moon!!!!!!
M&M are considering going to the midnight showing of this generic movie Band Slam just to see the wonderful look at New Moon. So while the studios advertising plan of further advertising is totally weird it has worked on these two teenagers. Srsly.
Thanks for reading our senseless babble

Twilight

Okay the subject of Twilight is a toughy... only because we love it so, but don't want to scare you away with our "enthusiasm". You see ever since the books came out Molly has become more and more dedicated... okay obsessed with all things Twilight. Megan then, per Molly's request, read all of the books and is now equally dedicated.
That being said we just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge our love of all things TWILIGHT!!!!!!!!!!
Srsly. How could you not love it. You've got your hot (pun intended) vampires and the delicious werevolves. A good love story is also thrown in along with action! Everyone should read all four of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight Saga books. If you don't than we are not sure we can be friends with you anymore...Just kidding! But srsly.
Megan and Molly also went to the midnight premiere of Twilight the movie, with the awesome Kstew and Spunk Ransom front and center (only on the screen, but still they were close). Yes, it's true, we were one of the fans that screamed and sqealed before midnight on November 20th 2008, a.k.a, 12:01 on the fateful day of November 21st. Just to clear this up though, we did not scream during the actual movie bcuz that is lamespice. Just saying.
Not every post of ours will involve Twilight but we felt it was important for you all to know where our allegiances lie.

Defining Street
So, this is our first post . . . and we are rather confuzzuld. Do you know how many settings there are?? Anyway, this blog is our way of sharing the lives of two teenagers who were born freakin' old. srsly. Our first order of business should be to define street for you.
It all started a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away . . . meaning drivers ed this past winter. Just sayin' it was awhile ago. We were completing our last instructional drive. Halfway through Molly got a little bit confused. Basically, the instructor told her to turn right onto another street, and Molly looked left . . . at a parking lot; inspiring the immortal words "define street."
Crap like this happens to us all the time.
Dasvidania!
